Haruka chuckled softly towards Kazi. "You really don't want me to actually start trying...I have a demon inside me who's known for speed.." he said with a chuckle as he sped up more, until he was ahead of Kazi once more.
Naruto sped up even more, so that he was at least tied with the other two males. He was enjoying the race...it was making things quicker.

Kazi chuckled slightly and glanced over toward Haruka. "Demon or no demon, I can still try myself, can't I?" he questioned with a smile. He glanced over toward Naruto, noticing him catching up toward the two and then back toward Kurureenu, who was trying her best to catch up to them, but still looked like she didn't even really care much.
Race, race, race, race, race... Kurureenu's mind echoed in a bored manner as she tried to speed up a bit more. I am not built for running! She didn't even want to think about the fact that she may trip as well, knowing herself to be quite klutzy as well. Just make sure I don't trip over rocks or roots or... twigs...

Haruka had his ruby-red eyes glance back towards Kurureenu, who was having a hard time catching up, and he sighed slightly. Putting his hands into a familiar hand seal, a clone of himself appeared right next to him. He sent that particular clone back and had him scoop up Kurureenu, then speed up and get ahead of everyone. Haruka himself chuckled slightly. Kurureenu wouldn't like this one bit...
Naruto blinked his sapphire-blue optics slightly as he noticed that Haruka had created another clone beside him and had it pick up Kurureenu. Why had he done th- well, it was answered when the clone got ahead of them...it was so she could actually catch up. He laughed slightly and continued to run.

Kazi watched as a clone appeared next to Haruka and he raised a brow. He glanced back and watched for a bit as it picked up Kurureenu. He was possibly about to say something until it sped ahead of them and he blinked and chuckled slightly with a roll of his eyes as he muttered something under his breath.
"Ya smartass!" Kurureenu shouted as she felt herself easily picked up by the clone and ran ahead. The girl pouted, not all too happy about being picked up.

Haruka shrugged his shoulders lightly towards the clone and the female he was currently carrying. "You said you weren't much of a runner, so let my clone do the running for you, I suppose..." He said with a laugh accompanying his words as he continued to speed up.
Naruto sighed slightly and started to speed up more, now trying to outrun the Haruka clone, which was somewhat hard to do.

Kurureenu sighed and continued to pout. She never really liked getting carried, especially at fast speeds.
Kazi laughed at Kurureenu, loving her pout. "Ku, I'm sorry, but you look cute when you pout."
"And you look much better with my fist jammed in your mouth," Kurureenu growled in response, passing Kazi a glare.

The Haruka Clone simply rolled his eyes towards Kurureenu as he continued to run, keeping ahead of them. Haruka watched him run and laughed slightly as he sped up, catching up to his own clone, and started to run ahead of him.
Naruto growled slightly and started to quicken his pace, trying to catch up to Haruka, who was currently ahead of them now. He was fast..

Kazi instantly shut his mouth with an innocent smile toward Kurureenu. He sped up a bit, but only to get in front of Naruto, who seemed to have gotten ahead of him a bit. Probably when he was calling Kurureenu 'cute'.
Kurureenu glanced over toward Haruka, who was running ahead of the clone and chuckled slightly. The thought of racing yourself might be quite entertaining to her short-attention spanned mind. She soon just closed her eyes, still pouting and began to think.

Haruka looked over towards Kazi, watching as he started to try and get in front of Naruto, then continued to run faster, trying to maintain his race with his clone, which would most likely end in either a tie or himself winning.
Naruto growled slightly and sped up more, making sure to maintain a lead in front of Kazi, not wanting to lose.

Kurureenu felt like playfully cheering or something, but it was Haruka against Haruka. Gah, this is so funny. the blonde thought with a grin as she closed her eyes, trying to compose herself a bit. She'd still rather not be carried though. Personal space is still a big thing with her.
Kazi noticed Naruto trying to keep ahead of him and quickened his pace a bit more. He grinned slightly and glanced toward Kurureenu, seeing a grin on her face. The pale boy raised a brow and rolled his eyes. Probably finds the thought of Haruka racing himself funny. he thought knowingly.
Kurureenu opened her eyes again and glanced forward, raising a brow slightly. "Question. How is this race going to end?"

Haruka looked back towards his clone, noticing that the clone was starting to gain on him somewhat. He sighed slightly and glanced back forward, starting to run a bit faster to keep his lead of the clone, though it was somewhat pointless, seeing as the clone had all of his speeds and such abilities.
Naruto continued to maintain his speed, until he noticed that Kazi was starting to run faster to catch up with him. He growled slightly and started to run faster still, not wanting to lose to him. That was Naruto's competitive nature, and no one could really blame him for it.
Haruka looked towards Kurureenu at the question that she had asked, and he shrugged his shoulders slightly towards her as he stopped. "Here, cause we're at the point we were told to scout." He said with a grin. Naruto stopped suddenly and skid.

Kazi blinked and noticed everyone stopping and he went down, doing a baseball slide for a stop. He looked up toward Haruka and Naruto and smiled. "Good race," he chuckled with a large smile.
Kurureenu smiled, happy that they were finally where they needed to be. The girl hopped out of the clone's arms and stumbled into a standing position. "Note to self: Never let Haruka's clone carry self," she grumbled, passing Haruka a 'look' before smiling herself. She was ready to get to work, anyway.

Naruto looked towards Kazi as he slid to a stop and blinked slightly. He laughed slightly and reached out a hand to help Kazi up. "I beat you by a few steps, 'ttebayo!" He exclaimed with a grin towards him.
Haruka looked over towards Kazi as he complimented on it being a good race, then heard Naruto's call about beating Kazi. He sighed and flicked Naruto hard in the back of the head. "Sure, sure, but you still didn't be me, baka.." He said with a yawn. He then looked towards Kazi and sighed. "You're the group leader. In what manner do you propose we scout for Akatsuki, and what signal should we give off if we find one?"

Kazi chuckled lightly as Naruto was flicked in the head. He didn't care if he lost or won. It was just a good race. Upon Haruka's question, he stood up and thought for a moment. "We'll split up into two groups and scout the area. If you find one-"
"Better not be send an exploding note into the air," Kurureenu murmured, seeming to have gained Kazi's attention.
"Ku! You read my mind!" Kazi exclaimed with a grin. He recieved the oh-so-well-known look from Kurureenu before the blonde rolled her eyes and gazed away. "Otherwise, tell me what I should change if you don't find it appropriate."

Haruka glanced towards both of them and, at Kurureenu's 'suggestion', he chuckled slightly as he gave his head a light shake. "Though that would be a good thing to do, maybe we shouldn't. We need to conserve every ninja tool we have, considering the situation. I have some flares, so we can use those, if that's alright?"
"Yeah, but what if we don't see it?" Naruto inquired.
Haruka sighed slightly. "Well, whoever is in my group, I can send a bird into the air to make sure the flare is visible. The other group will have to get to a top of a tree, which shouldn't be too hard for anyone, since we all have learned the chakra control for it." Haruka stated. "Now, what are the groups?"
