Biography: Rikka grew up in the snow village belonging to the Neko clan. As can be guessed the Neko clan is mostly associated with cats because of their fighting style which resembles that of cats. Each member of the Neko clan has a different kind of cat represent them. Rikka`s cat is the snow leopard. The Neko clan is not assigned to specifically one region but is in fact spread throughout all of Japan, mainly the Kansai region.
Being raised in the Neko clan has caused Rikka to be taught many feline related jutsus but she has also combined such jutsus with ones that originated in the snow village.
She grew up in the snow village till she was 5 years old when she was moved to live in Konoha for 3 years. She was of coarse not happy about this arrangement at first because she didn`t like the warm climate of the land of fire and all in all just preferred the land of snow better. She didn`t know anyone and wasn`t one to be very social so mainly kept to herself before one day a girl named Kako came up to her. "Is it cold in the land of snow?" "H...Huh?!" "Is it cold there?" "Of coarse it`s cold baka! What kinda question is that?" "I dunno....people always say it is but I`ve never been so I don`t believe them. I`m Kako....Kako Kokanami" "Hmph...I`m Rikka Neko" "Neko?" "Yeah......" "Oh so you`re like a kitty!!!" "What?!" "Neko means Cat doesn`t it?" "Yah..." "Then you`re a kitty!" "I`m not a ki..." "You don`t have any friends here do you? Cause you`re an outsider?" "......" "Don`t worry I`m the same. Cause of my birthmark. Wanna play?" ".....Play what?" "Hide and seek?" "Doesn`t that get boring with only two people?" "Not it!" "Hey wait! Come back here!!!"
It took awhile for Rikka to get use to Kako`s very different and rather optimistic ways but one thing was for sure, Kako needed Rikka and Rikka needed Kako. Rikka protected Kako and stood up for her when she was teased and Kako cheered up Rikka and made everything fun.
It didn`t take long before Rikka learned of Kako`s "birthmark" and even was the one to witness the first time the mark activated, draining Kako`s energy and chakra. After that instance she was often seen reading books and talking to people who might know of it. One day she finally found out what the mark was from the hokage. "Y...You knew?! You knew and you never told her?!!!!" "Rikka-chan it`s best if Kako doesn`t know. Not now anyway. That part of her past would only hurt her or confuse her if anything else" "But she still deserves to know!!! To know why she`s been shunned all her life! Everyone knows except her!" "Noone was suppose to know originally but word spreads quickly through this village. Please....promise me you won`t tell her" ".......She....she can know in the future right? When she`s older?" "Yes...." "Fine!"
Years passed and the girls grew closer and closer till it was as if they were sisters and they were never seen apart. Unfortunately the day came when she finally had to leave back to her home and the girls had to separate. It was a teary separation (mainly for Kako) but it had to be done. "Kako stop crying" "But...But Ane-chan I don`t want you to go" "You`ll be fine now suck it up! If you don`t I`m gonna knock you out so I can leave in peace" "Fine...Gomen nasai but before you leave....here" "Whats this?" "Just open it" "....Cat ears?" "Fake cat ears" "I can tell. What do I do with them?" "Promise you`ll wear them ok? I dun care if it`s even only for one day. Just wear them" ".....I promise I`ll wear them everyday kay....Imoto-chan?" "Really?" "Really. See ya ok?" "Yah....see ya!"
Ever since then Rikka has been back in her home land, training hard and awaiting the day she would see her friend again. As well as fulfilling her promise to Kako and wearing the fake car ears every day.
Personality: Rikka isn`t exactly the most optimistic but will never give up in a fight. She`s very protective of her "Imoto-chan" and if anyone hurts Kako in anyway, won`t hesitate to slice their head off. She has a bit of a temper and an attitude but is all in all fun to be around. She like to tease others as well for fun. She still continues to not only keep her promise to Kako but to the hokage and has still not told Kako the truth about her mark.
