Haruka looked over towards Kurureenu, who had walked over to him to watch the display of the fire being blown over the water. He smiled softly and looked back towards the water when they started to bicker once more, and he sighed softly as steam came from the water slightly.
He then looked towards Kako as she announced the call for the Kuchiyose no Jutsu, and his eyes widened slightly as he saw...a snake?! He growled softly. The only people he knew who could summon snakes were Anko Mitarashi and Orochimaru, and Anko was a former student of Orochimaru...He sighed softly and bit his thumb, causing it to bleed, then did the hand seals for the Kuchiyose no Jutsu, "Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" He called out, slamming his hand on the railing of the boat.
His summoning was the oddity. It was a bird...to be more specific, and elemental bird, who illuminated the sky with a dance of flames and electricity, as well as water. He jumped on top of the elemental bird. "Nice to see you again, Youso..." He murmured. The elemental bird looked down and saw a snake. "That's...quite rare to see, Haruka-san." He commented to Haruka in his mind. Haruka nodded and sighed.

Naruto blinked as Haruka let loose the fire over the water, and sighed slightly. His eyes grew wide when Kako summoned a snake, and he practically fell over on the boat. "A s-s-snake?!!!"

Kurureenu gazed up as a snake was summoned by Kako. She only backed up to the railing, easily making it seem casual. She could summon a snake as well, learning it personally from Orochimaru once. The girl still hated that moment. She never summons it... she didn't even remember the snakes name.
Kazi gazed up toward the snake and moved over toward Kurureenu, making it seem causal and protective at the same time. He sat on the railing next to the girl, seeming to not sense any fear from the girl and absorbing the calmness from her.
Kurureenu glanced over momentarily toward Kazi and rolled her eyes with a sigh before pushing off the railing and making her way to the bow again.

The large snake looked at the reactions of the others and paid especially close attention to Naruto, smirking wickedly toward the boy. "Your friendssssssssssss don`t sssssssseem to like me Kako-chan" Hebi hissed but didn`t seem to be bothered by the fact. In fact he seemed to be enjoying being feared. "Awwww guys Hebi-kun is sweet! He just likes to mess with people. You can`t always judge snakes based off Orochimaru-sama" Kako pleaded, wanting her friends to calm down but she was kinda use to this. She`s had to explain Hebi every time she summoned him.
Kako then noticed the bird that Haruka had summoned and gazed at it in interest. Hebi noticed it`s master`s gaze and also looked up at the bird. "Very interessssssssssssssting" the snake noted but while it`s master was distracted he decided to pay the boy that seemed most afraid some 'special' attention. The snake smirked and slid toward Naruto slowly and menacingly "Konnichiwa little boy...you sssssssssseem alittle uneasssssssssy...."

Haruka gazed down towards the snake, examining it very closely. He sighed slightly and sat down on his bird. He hadn't ever seen Orochimaru summon a snake that looked like that in all the years he had seen him, and when Kurureenu learned to summon snakes, hers were ones that he had seen. He chuckled softly as the bird, Youso, looked upon his master with a curious look upon his face. "So, Haruka-san, the snake is the reason you have summoned me, then?" He asked Haruka within his mind once again.
Haruka nodded his head and responded back within the birds mind, which would be through his own thoughts. "Hai. It's not an enemy to us, since Kako-chan has summoned it, but I just wanted you to examine it. We've seen Orochimaru before, and I've never seen him summon a snake that looked like that..." He said with a chuckle. Youso nodded his head. "I understand, Haruka-san." Youso replied.
Haruka then looked down at the snake talking to Naruto in such a manner. It was most likely teasing him, but it was still causing him to be somewhat uneasy. "Wait here." He commented shortly then jumped down from the bird and in front of Naruto.

Naruto looked towards the snake and gulped slightly. His experiences with snakes haven't been very...er...pleasant. During the chuunin exams, he kinda...got ate by one, and he used his Massive Shadow Clone Technique to burst out of the snake. Needless to say, no one wants to be covered in snake saliva crap(besides Orochimaru.) He had even blacked out and stopped another snake that was going to hit Sasuke(blacked out since the Nine-Tailed Fox took over...) Now, he was talking to another snake?
"I'm uneasy because snakes haven't exactly been nice to me over the years, 'ttebayo!!" He called out with a slight growl. He then watched Haruka jump down in front of him and blinked slightly. "Eh?"

Haruka sighed slightly and took a step towards the snake. He wasn't going to attack it; he was simply going to talk. "So, Hebi, while your master is somewhat busy examining my bird, I will examine you..." He murmured. "So, you must know Orochimaru, since he is the one that issues the Summoning Scrolls for snakes, correct?" He muttered, making it as low as he could so that the snake could still hear him, but Kako couldn't if she focused on him again.

Kazi watched all that was happening just because of the appearance of the snake. He glanced over to say something to Kurureenu, but noticed she wasn't there anymore and sighed. "She must've walked off somewhere..." he murmured.
Kurureenu leaned against the railing and closed her eyes with a slight sigh. She felt that it was getting too crowded over by the others, and the blonde practically loathed crowds. Though... sometimes it depends on the people in the crowd as well. She wouldn't mind being with just friends, but it does get annoying.
The girl let another sigh pass her lips as she rolled her eyes and kept an eye out toward the water.

Hebi was going to continue messing with the blonde dobe but a red haired boy stood in his way. At Haruka`s question the snake looked at the boy with interest then smirked as he rose his head up from slithering on the ground. "Hai....Orochimaru-sssssssssama wassssss my original owner. But you sssssssssssee I wassssss created essssspecially for Kako-chan. When the girl was abandoned in the village the only item left with her wassssss a ssssssumoning sssssscroll. The sssssscroll was kept by the hokage until ssssssshe turned sssssssix. Once it was given to the her Kako-chan took it upon herssssself to learn on her own how to ssssssumon me. Ever ssssssince I`ve faithfully protected my massssssssster. Though sssssshe`sss not exactly what I expected...." the snake explained before glancing back at Kako who was still examining Haruka`s bird with wonder, causing the snake`s smirk to widen before looking back at Haruka. "But....if ssssshe`sss able to learn a sssssumoning jutssssu at only sssssix then I`m sssssure ssssshe`ll become what isssss expected of her ssssssoon enough....Anymore quesssstions?"

Naruto growled slightly towards the snake since it had kept grinning and such towards him. At the mention of Orochimaru, he growled a bit more. Orochimaru was the one that had killed the 3rd Hokage, almost killed him and Granny Tsunade, and everything. Needless to say, Naruto wasn't too thrilled at the mention of Orochimaru.

Haruka simply ignored the blonde-haired jinchuuriki as he continued to look over the snake. So, Kako was left the summoning scroll when she was abandoned at the village...but Orochimaru was the creator of the Snake summoning...which means he had to somehow leave it for her. Wait...back it up....the snake said he was created especially for her? What type of interest would Orochimaru have in a young girl..? "Hn, I have one more question for you, Habi. She was abandoned in the Leaf Village about the same time Orochimaru left the village..just what does he have to do with Kako? What connection does she have to him, besides Summoning?"

Kurureenu continued to lean against the railing, bored. She was practically entranced by the water at the moment, the soft waves that reflected another world almost. She sighed and began to think, or daydream. Mostly daydream.
Kazi watched with interest. He knew about Orochimaru and all and knew almost all that he did around the area. He knew nothing, though, about Kurureenu learning to summon a snake from him as well. He had a reason to hate the man still, though.

Hebi figured that would be the boy`s next question and let out an evil chuckle but it came out as just hisses. "Wouldn`t you like to know? I`m not gonna tell you but letsssssss jussssssst sssssssssssay that Orochimaru-sssssssama and Kako-chan have a ssssspecial bond. You could even sssssssay like family....." the snake hissed in a way that made it hard to tell if he was serious or just messing with Haruka again. The snake then turned to slither back to Kako.
Kako blinked when she felt something brush up against her and looked down to see her snake. She threw her arms around her pet and gave it a hug. "Heya Hebi-kun~!" "Konnichiwa Kako-chan....by the way have you been practicing the jutsssssu I told you about?" "Um....ya but I`m not very good at it. I just can`t get the sword part down...." Kako stated sounding slightly sad that she couldn`t perform the jutsu that Hebi had suddenly told her about awhile back. "Well don`t worry...I`m ssssure you`ll perfect the Kusssssanagi no Tsssssurugi Jutsssu soon enough..." the snake assured, making sure to say the name of the jutsu low enough so no one would hear. Kako smiled happily at the snake`s trust in her abilities and tightened the hug on the snake. "You`re so sweet Hebi-kun! Thankies!"

Haruka growled slightly towards the snake, aggravated that it wouldn't give him the answer he desired. He sighed softly, deciding not to bug the cold-blooded animal anymore, and walked over towards Kako and his bird. Youso looked down towards him and then looked towards Kako again, wondering somewhat why she hadn't asked him any questions. She simply just stared at him. Haruka chuckled softly as he jumped back onto the bird and flew up into the air a little bit.
"I used a small genjutsu..." Haruka murmured with a sigh. "No one besides me knows anything about elemental birds like you, and I intend to keep it that way...I learned some interesting things about that snake down there, but not enough to try and put small accusations on..." He said with a sigh. Youso chuckled softly, coming out in slight squawks. "You can't expect one of those creatures to give you anything worthwhile..not while they have a connection to Orochimaru." Youso told Haruka through his mind once more. Haruka sighed. "Yeah, Yeah.."

Kurureenu glanced up only momentarily when she heard the elemental bird's short squawks before she turned back toward the water and went back into thought.
Kazi just sat in his spot and raised a brow, completely bored at the moment. He'd summon his animal, but he wasn't in the mood to weigh the ship down with anymore weight.

Suddenly Kako`s hug on the snake ended as she winced in pain and put her hand on the 'birth mark' on her neck. "Mark hurting Kako-chan?" the snake asked but with more of an interested tone, not one that sounded as if it cared. "Yah....but it`s no big deal. I can handle it" Kako said and put on a tough face for the snake. Hebi would have responded but stopped when it heard a slight hissing in the air, but the sound was one that only Hebi could hear. After the hissing had stopped the reptile turned back to Kako who was still dealing with the slight pain caused by her mark. "I musssst go now Kako-chan" "Aw Hebi-kun you`re not gonna stay? I wanted you to meet my friend in the land of snow" "It`sssss cold in the land of ssssnow right?" "Hai..." "Well I`m cold blooded...I don`t do well anyway in ssssuch environment. Sssssumon me later when it`sssss warmer" "Ok Hebi-kun...Bye!" "Ssssee you later..." and with that the snake disappeared in the same smoke it had appeared in.
Kako put up with the odd pain from her mark for a moment longer before it finally faded away. She sighed and slid down to sit down and looked up at Haruka and his bird. "Hey Haru-kun come down here! I wanna get a closer look at that bird!"
(all in favor of just skipping to the land of snow after our next posts say 'Hai!' ^.^)

"You know, Haruka-san, you should at least give her a small little detail about us. You are, indeed, the only person in this whole land that knows anything, and if you just happen to die, our race will indeed go extinct." He murmured to Haruka. Haruka sighed softly towards the bird and simply shrugged his shoulders as a response while he fixated his gaze over the ocean, smiling softly at it. Although the air and such was getting much colder, the beauty of the scenery was not tarnished in the least. He smiled softly as his eyes took in the colors of the scenery, and Youso looked the same way he did, enjoying the scenery quite well as well. They were two of a kind, you could say. They had known each other for quite a while(considering Haruka started to summon at about age 5.)
Haruka focus shifted down towards the boat when he heard Kako starting to speak up towards him, and he laughed slightly and looked towards Youso and sighed. He nodded towards the bird, and Youso flew down to right in front of Kako, although still being a reasonable amount in the air. Haruka jumped off the bird and landed next to her, murmuring, "Examine away."
